INFO DAY 11/07 - Nº 9:

Holland wins again

Holland obtained her second victory in a row by defeating Australia 2-1 in the second round of the 12th women's Champions Trophy on Sunday.

Though the first half was even, striker Suzie Faulkner opened the score from a wonderful penalty corner combination, in the ninth minute.

The Netherlands reacted reaching Australia's circle with some good options, but they could not equalized.

Holland pushed Australia hard with outstanding midfielder Maartje Scheepstra joining the forwards. Thus, in the 45th minute, Chantal De Bruijn equalized from a corner pass.
